MEET THE ASSOCIATES

With a bar-band DNA, Joe Tougas & Associates is a southern Minnesota ensemble of veteran players delivering original works of rock, folk, soul as well as great takes on covers.

Formed in 2021, the band features soulful vocal harmonies from a trio of singers dubbed The Sirens of Titan — Ann Fee, Abigail Kimble and Kat Baumann. Their lush work weaved throughout songs that feature bass guitarist Shelley Pierce, drummer Scott Rahe, saxophonist Evan Bierer, keyboardist Michelle Roche and guitarist Joe Tougas.

The band’s 15-track debut album, “Minnesota Moon,” features the works of four songwriters in the group (Tougas, Fee, Roche and Baumann) and was released in August of 2025.

Unpredictable but tight, they have performed in numerous bars and clubs in the area as well as festivals including the Rock Bend Folk Festival and the Minnesota Original Music Festival.
